Topic Mentions

Topic Mentions helps you track recurring conversation themes across monitored creators.

Unlike Brand Mentions (product or brand term matches), Topic Mentions focuses on matched topical themes and lets you review trends in one place.

Open Topic Mentions

  1. Go to Brand Monitoring.
  2. Open the Topic Mentions tab.
Rule requirement

Topic Mentions is driven by continuous listening rules. If no continuous rules are active, this tab may be empty.

What you can do

  • Filter by rule, platform, and topic
  • Search by creator name, handle, summary text, or topic text
  • Open mention details with matched topics and source context
  • Mark items read or unread
  • Export filtered results to CSV

Table fields

You will typically see:

  • Creator

  • Date
  • Link to original post

Select multiple rows to:

  • Mark selected as read
  • Delete selected topic mentions

Best practices

  • Review this tab weekly to spot recurring narratives.
  • Combine rule and topic filters to compare campaigns or segments.
  • Use exports to brief social, content, and partnerships teams.

Troubleshooting

No topic mentions are shown
Confirm at least one continuous listening rule has run and processed recent posts.

Expected topic is missing
Try broader filters first, then verify the rule scope and creator set.

Export button disabled
Exports are available when filtered results contain at least one row.
