Mentions

The Mentions tab shows content where your tracked products or brands were detected by listening rules.

Use this page to review mention context, filter high-signal posts, and export data for reporting.

Open the Mentions tab

  1. Go to Brand Monitoring.
  2. Open the Brand Mentions tab.

What each mention includes

Depending on platform and source data, a mention can include:

  • Creator name and platform
  • Matched product or keyword
  • Sentiment label
  • Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares)
  • Post date and source link
  • Rule association

Filter mention results

Use filters to narrow the table by:

  • Listening rule
  • Product
  • Creator
  • Platform
  • Sentiment
  • Content style

You can combine filters to isolate specific cases, such as negative mentions for one product in a recent campaign window.

Review mention details

Click a row to open detailed content, including matched terms and available post context.

Use this detail view when:

  • Qualifying sentiment
  • Validating false positives
  • Preparing responses or internal reporting

Export mentions

Click Export to download the current filtered view.

Export is useful for:

  • Weekly reporting
  • Sharing with stakeholders
  • Building external analysis sheets

Bulk actions

Select multiple rows to run supported bulk actions such as deletion from your mentions table.

Deletion

Deleting mentions removes them from your workspace view. Export first if you need a backup.

Best practices

  • Keep at least one broad listening rule for baseline coverage.
  • Use filtered exports for campaign summaries instead of exporting the full dataset every time.
  • Pair this view with Topic Mentions for category-level analysis.
