Billing Portal Issues

Use this guide if Manage Billing does not open or billing actions fail.

Quick checks

  1. Refresh the Account page and retry.
  2. Confirm you are signed in to the correct workspace account.
  3. Confirm the account has a linked billing profile.

Common issues

Manage Billing button is missing or disabled

Your account may not have a linked billing customer record yet. Open pricing and start a paid or PAYG billing flow first.

Portal opens but no subscription is shown

Confirm you are viewing the correct account and workspace.

Plan change not reflected immediately

Some changes apply at the next billing cycle. Check for a scheduled plan change notice in Account.

Payment update fails

  • Retry with a different payment method
  • Confirm card and billing details
  • Retry after a short delay

If billing status blocks features

If status moves to a non-eligible state (for example, unpaid), paid workflows and MCP access can be limited until billing is resolved.

Escalation details to include

When contacting support, include:

  • Account email
  • Approximate timestamp
  • Action attempted (upgrade, payment update, cancellation)
  • Screenshot of the message shown
