MCP Connection Issues

Use this guide when Toksta MCP cannot connect or shows blocked status.

Step 1: Confirm account readiness

In Account > MCP Setup, verify:

  • Plan is PAYG, Starter, Pro, or Agency
  • Subscription status is eligible
  • Usable credits are above zero

If any check fails, MCP remains blocked until resolved.

Step 2: Validate endpoint setup

  1. Copy the hosted endpoint from Account.
  2. Paste it into your connector client exactly.
  3. Re-run sign-in and authorization.

Step 3: Verify with a simple call

After connecting, run a lightweight MCP call first (for example, list campaigns) before launching larger workflows.

Common problems and fixes

Connection rejected at setup

  • Re-copy endpoint from Account
  • Remove old connector config and re-add
  • Complete auth flow again

Connected but tools fail immediately

  • Confirm credit balance
  • Confirm plan eligibility
  • Retry with a simple read-only call

Access suddenly blocked

  • Check subscription status changes
  • Check usable credits
